Astro Tycoon throws you into a bright, slightly ridiculous land where your main goal is to dig up shiny stuff and make a fortune. Created by OZgames, the game has a fun, easygoing vibe and doesn’t try to be overly serious.

You’ll land on all kinds of strange lands, each with its own terrain and personality. Some are easy to dig through, others feel like they’re daring you to give up. But that’s half the fun. With your vacuum gun in hand, you’ll carve your way through the ground, collecting colorful crystals and hauling them back to your base to sell.
At first, it’s just you and your tools. Then suddenly, you’ve got workers, machines, upgrades… and somehow you’ve become a space mining tycoon without even noticing.
The real magic of Astro Tycoon is in the loop. Mine crystals, sell them, upgrade your gear, then go back for more - but faster and better each time.
You can hire workers to help out or build an auto-miner that quietly does its job while you run around exploring. It feels great watching your little operation grow from “just me with a vacuum” to a full-on mining setup.
And yes, there are hoverboards. Because if you’re going to explore alien planets, you might as well look cool doing it.
Things don’t stay simple for long. You’ll unlock power-ups that make everything more fun - bigger backpacks, magnets that pull crystals toward you, even jetpacks that let you glide through terrain like it’s nothing.
But you’ll have to earn them.
Scattered across each planet are portals that take you underground. Down there, you’ll find gold coins, hidden paths, and sometimes a bit of trouble. It’s worth it, though - those coins unlock some of the best upgrades in the game.
Oh, and if you ever feel stuck? Just use dynamite. Seriously. Blowing things up is a perfectly valid strategy here.
While digging, you might uncover fossils from creatures that lived on these planets long ago. Thanks to some very convenient sci-fi technology, you can bring them back to life.
They follow you around, giving little boosts that are as helpful as they are adorable. It’s like having a little alien buddy cheering you on while you work.
If mining alone gets a bit quiet, you can invite a friend to join you. The co-op mode lets two players explore and work together.
You can split tasks, help each other out, or just mess around and see who finds the best loot. Either way, it’s a lot more fun when you’ve got company.
The controls are straightforward, so you won’t need long to get started:
There’s no single “right” way to play. You can dig straight down, make tunnels, or clear huge areas with explosives. Collect crystals, head back to your base, sell them, and use the money to upgrade everything.
One small tip: don’t ignore the portals. That’s where some of the best rewards are hiding.
Astro Tycoon is the kind of game you open for a few minutes and somehow end up playing way longer than planned. It’s easygoing, a little chaotic, and just plain fun - especially when things start exploding in your favor.
