Tower Rise: Stack to the Sky

Tower Rise looks easy at first. You see a block moving back and forth, wait for the right moment, and drop it onto your tower. Simple, right? Well... give it a few turns and that “easy” little game may have you staring at the screen, waiting for one perfect second. Your job is to keep stacking floors and make your tower as tall as possible without turning it into a crooked pile of bricks.

Keep Stacking

Each new block becomes another floor of your building. When you place it neatly on the floor below, your tower gets taller, and your score goes up. Nice and easy.

The trouble starts when your timing is off.

If a block lands too far to one side, the part hanging over the edge gets cut off. The next block then has a smaller area to land on. Make another bad drop, and the floor gets even smaller. Before long, you're trying to land a block on what looks like a tiny shelf. That's when things get interesting.

A good drop, on the other hand, keeps the floor broad and gives you a much better chance of reaching a new record.

How to Play

There aren't complicated missions or a bunch of levels to work through. Tower Rise is all about one thing: stacking as many floors as you can.

Watch the block as it moves across the top of your tower. Keep your eyes on the floor underneath it and wait until the two are lined up. Then make your move.

The more accurately you drop each block, the easier the next one will be. Don't get too excited when your tower starts getting tall, though. One rushed tap can ruin a perfectly good run.

Controls

  • On a computer: Move the block into position and click to drop it.
  • On a phone or tablet: Tap the screen to release the block.
  • Your objective: Line up each block with the floor below, drop it at the right moment, and keep building to chase your highest score.

Find Your Favorite Look

There is more to collect than a high score. Keep playing to get rewards and unlock different tower designs. Once you get the knack of stacking, you can have fun making your skyline look a little less ordinary.

Play, Practice, Repeat

What I love about Tower Rise is that you don’t have to spend hours and hours in a long gaming session. You can play a quick round whenever you have a spare moment, or keep going to see just how ridiculously tall your building can become.

The controls are simple, but getting really good takes practice. Watch the movement, trust your timing, and don't rush the drop. Your first tower might be a little wonky. That's okay. Even the world's greatest skyscrapers had to start with the first brick.
