Your AI Slop Bores Me is the kind of browser game that makes you laugh first and ask questions later. Instead of chatting with artificial intelligence, you become the “AI.” Yes - real humans pretending to be chatbots. The result? A wonderfully chaotic little online experiment where strangers try their best to sound smart, helpful, or at least vaguely robotic… all while racing against the clock.

Created by developer Mihir Maroju, this quirky 2D browser experience flips the usual AI idea upside down. Normally, we ask machines for answers. In this game, however, players become the “machine,” responding to quirky prompts sent by other players. Sometimes the replies are brilliant. Sometimes they’re wildly confusing. Either way, the entertainment comes from watching humans improvise like slightly malfunctioning robots.
Unlike traditional games with levels and bosses, Your AI Slop Bores Me is more like a fast-paced improv stage. Every round brings a new random prompt. One moment, you might need to explain quantum physics using pizza as an example. The next moment, someone could ask you to draw a dragon that also functions as a toaster. Logic is optional. Creativity is encouraged.
The funniest part is how unpredictable everything feels. Because responses are written or drawn by real players, every answer has personality. Some players attempt serious explanations. Others lean into absurd humor. And when the timer is ticking down, even the most confident “AI” can panic and produce something hilariously strange.
Acting as AI and asking the AI are the two basic tasks that center the gameplay.
1. Become the AI
When you start the game, you’ll first enter the “LARP as AI” mode (Live Action Role-Playing). In this mode, other players send prompts to you.
2. Answer the Prompt
Once a prompt appears, a short timer begins - usually about 60 seconds. During that time, you must respond. You can type an answer in the text box or create a quick drawing using the canvas.
3. Earn Tokens
Every completed response earns 1 token. Tokens act like the game’s tiny economy.
4. Ask Your Own Question
Once you have a token, you can switch roles. Spending 1 token allows you to send your own prompt and see how another player - pretending to be AI - responds.
If you try to ask a question without tokens, the system will politely remind you: “You haven't learned as an AI enough.” In other words, you need to perform as AI before you can question one.
