Drift Masters is the driving game where a little tire smoke is a good sign. Get into a sports car, pick a road, and see how well you can handle a turn without sliding straight into a barrier. This 3D drifting game lets you explore three tracks, earn cash, and customize your car to match your own style. The tricky bit? Keeping the car sideways without losing control.
Can You Hold That Drift?
In Drift Masters, you don’t just race around the track; you earn points for smooth drifts. You run to drift speed, turn into a corner, and hit the handbrake to slide. Pull off a smooth drift to earn more points and increase your score multiplier.
As your score improves, you might want to tempt fate, but be careful! A single hit against the wall can end your drift streak. The driving display helps you keep track of your drift score, multiplier, lap times, and personal bests. Try a few laps, learn where the corners catch you out, and see whether you can put together a cleaner run.
Take a Look Around
Three different environments give you a reason to change tracks when you fancy something new.
Race Track: Mountain scenery and sweeping asphalt bends make this circuit a good place to practice linking drifts together.
City: Bright skyscrapers and industrial streets give nighttime driving a different mood. It's a nice change from the open mountain roads.
Snowy Track: The road is slick here, and steering takes a little more care. Use the controls gently, particularly near bridges and tight corners.
A Trip to the Garage
Your earnings can go toward more than just a bigger score. For 2,500 credits, you can buy a new paint color or a different set of rims. You can also tweak a few settings to get your car handling just the way you like.
Adjust the front and rear camber, ride height, spring force, and damping. You can also tweak transmission settings, change your headlight color, and choose a wheel-smoke effect. Try things out and see what suits you; there's no need to get everything perfect on the first visit.
How to Play
Here are the controls you'll use while driving:
W / Up Arrow: Accelerate.
S / Down Arrow: Brake or reverse.
A / Left Arrow: Steer left.
D / Right Arrow: Steer right.
Spacebar: Pull the handbrake to begin a drift.
F: Activate nitro for a speed boost.
L: Turn the headlights on or off.
As you approach a corner, speed up, turn in, and hit the spacebar to start drifting. Drift, make steering corrections to stay on track. Avoid barriers to protect your multiplier.
