Rooftop Flip: Flip Your Way to the Top!
Ever wanted to pull off daring jumps from one rooftop to another like a tiny acrobat? Rooftop Flip lets you give it a try without the risk of getting hurt! Leap from one platform to another, show off a few backflips, and try to stick the landing without taking an unexpected dive off the rooftop! It all sounds easy until you realize the next rooftop is farther away than you thought! Good timing is your best friend here. As you advance, you can also collect coins, unlock new characters, and upgrade their abilities. Don't celebrate a perfect jump just yet - you still need to stick the landing!
How to Play Rooftop Flip
Get the Timing Right
Every jump begins with a quick look at the direction indicator. Use it to time your launch, then press the button to send your character into the air. Nail the timing, and you might make it across, but jump at the wrong moment and you'll miss your landing spot! Don't worry if things go wrong at first. A couple of awkward attempts are part of learning.
Land on Your Feet
Here's the funny thing about backflips: they look wonderful until you miss the landing. Before jumping, check the height and distance of the next platform. Some platforms give you plenty of space to land, while others require a much more precise approach. If your version allows midair control, gently guide your character toward the platform. Small movements are usually enough, so there's no need to wiggle your mouse like crazy! Your character is an acrobat, not a mosquito!
Deal With Tougher Rooftops
As you move through the levels, the easy jumps gradually disappear. Before long, you'll face bigger gaps, smaller platforms, and moving surfaces that make each landing a little trickier. Stop a moment and evaluate the obstacles before you take your move. Miss a landing? Don’t just keep the same jump and hope for a different result; try changing your timing! Sometimes the answer is a tiny adjustment, not a completely different stunt.
Collect Coins and Find New Characters
Coins are scattered rewards worth watching for during your runs. Collect to unlock new characters and upgrade their skills. These upgrades give you another goal to chase besides simply reaching the next rooftop. You might even find a character that suits your playing style better. Still, think twice before chasing a coin in a dangerous spot. Falling for a single shiny circle is a rather silly way to end a great run!
Controls
You only need a mouse to get started:
Mouse Click: Click to launch your character and perform a jump.
Mouse Movement: Use your mouse to change your character’s direction, depending on the version you’re playing.
In-Air Control: Make small adjustments while airborne to help position your landing, when available.
Try a few easy jumps before you try the tougher gaps. Getting comfortable with the controls makes a real difference.
