The obvious choices are usually a good start. Clothes can go in wardrobes or drawers, books look right on shelves, and toothbrushes probably won’t appreciate being left beside the sofa. Kitchenware belongs in the kitchen, while decorations can help make the room feel less like a storage unit and more like someone actually lives there.
Of course, the game won’t let you breeze through every room. Space can become a real headache. A shelf may already be packed, a drawer may have only one tiny gap left, or an item may fit in one place but not another. When that happens, move a few things around and try again.
